The highway from Cancun to Tulum is a four lane paved highway, making the drive quick and comfortable.  It is recommended that you rent a car prior to coming having it ready for you at the airport as that makes it much easier to get around.  

After you pick up your rental car and drive out of airport turn right at the main highway 307 (there is a sign to Puerto Morelos).  Drive about 10 miles looking for a large microwave tower on your left.  A short distance after the tower you will see on you left side the Crococun Zoo and then signs for the Returno a short distance after the Crococun Zoo.   

As you approach the Returno stay to left and take the Returno which will take you back now driving towards Cancun.  Turn right on the road immediately next to the Crococun Zoo and take it to the beach (a little over a mile), turn left at the beach and go on the beach road about 1 and half miles.  Villa Paradiso is on your right it has a 3 bay garage.  Honk your horn as you arrive the caretaker will help you with your bags.  An English speaking host will greet you and answer questions about Villa Paradiso and the area.
