What a fabulous vacation we had at Casa Del Cielo! It was all that we had wanted and hoped it would be. The house was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The pool and pool area, where we spent most of our time, was wonderful and the swim-up bar was most fun. We took many walks along the beach and found some great conch shells and interesting coral which we brought back with us. And Gloria and Danielle were wonderful – very helpful and pleasant.
We also loved our forays into Puerto Morelos. We visited all the little shops and found some great gifts; we bought fresh lobster one day for a great meal at home; and we ate in several restaurants there where we always had great food. We definitely felt that we experienced more of the real character of Mexico than had we been sitting in a big hotel in touristy Cancun.
We were bragging about the house to a couple on the airplane and ended up showing them some video of our trip. They asked for your website right away – all before we even arrived back in Minnesota. Since we have returned we have given the website to many of our friends after telling them what a great experience we had.
We would highly recommend Casa Del Cielo to our friends and family - or to anyone who asks - and look forward to returning ourselves for another wonderful vacation.

What a wonderful vacation we had at Casa del Cielo! This was our 5th trip to Cancun and by far, the most comfortable stay. The house is gorgeous and the view is spectacular! As I have expressed to you and everyone back in the States, if you don’t believe in God, all you have to do is stand on the terrace at Casa del Cielo. The view will make a believer out of you! We were lucky enough to experience a full moon upon our arrival. Sitting on the deck, watching the moon appear over the ocean, casting shadows on the water while the sun was setting in the west, was an unforgettable experience!
The house is centrally located, close enough to many sights and amenities. We enjoyed eating at several restaurants, both in Cancun and Puerto Morelos. Depending on the mood of the day, you can eat at a casual local restaurant in Puerto Morelos or opt for a more formal setting in Cancun. We walked to Puerto Morelos, and at a leisure pace, it took us about 50 minutes to get there. There were a lot of swimming spots on the way there to keep us cool! We also enjoyed a day trip to nearby Playa del Carmen where we found lots of shops, restaurants and the incredible turquoise blue water of the Caribbean. My husband I especially enjoyed daily fishing from the shore in front of the house.
The house was very comfortable and very private. This was a welcome change from our previous stays at the hotels in Cancun. In the evenings, we were able to enjoy a drink at the wonderful lit-up bar and even catch the US evening news! We specially enjoyed the nights, sleeping to the sound of the ocean and the trade winds.
The staff was wonderful. Maru, Gloria and Daniel were very accommodating and eager to please.
Before we left Cancun, we were starting to make plans for our return to Casa del Cielo. We have also given your website to all friends and family. Thanks for a great experience!

We had a wonderful time at this villa. It is everything they say it is and more. The private pool is a nice addition to this home. Most of the other villas we found for rent do not have this wonderful feature. The Property manager, maid and groundskeeper were wonderful, and always willing to help and answer any questions. If you choose this villa for your vacation you are sure to have a wonderful time. It is quiet and private and although the maid and groundskeeper live on the compound in a separate dwelling, they allow you as much privacy as you desire. It is a wonderful place for couples and families with children alike. It is a beautiful, quiet place for couples looking for a private hideaway, as well as a great place for families with children so you don't have to worry about your children disturbing other guests like in a hotel or resort. This villa is conveniently located between Cancun to the north and Playa del Carmen to the south. Further south, about an hour or so is Tulum with the ancient ruins.
We have sometimes found that some rental properties are over rated, but you will not find this with this villa. It is a great place to enjoy your holiday if you want a beautiful private place to lay around in the sun, or a wonderful base from which to explore the surrounding areas. You will not be disappointed with this villa.

I wanted to send you a short note to tell you how very much we
our stay at Casa del Cielo. Your staff was wonderful, performing above
and beyond the call of duty. When we arrived hot, tired, and hungry,
Genny drove us into Puerto Morelos and recommended a restaurant for
dinner. Gloria cooked for us whenever we wandered into the kitchen, and
Daniel washed our car twice! The house was spotlessly clean and Daniel
even raked the seaweed off the beach for us.
We had a lovely time, walking the beach, collecting shells, and
exploring the tide pools. We spent a day in Tulum and another in Cancun
shopping and eating out at a fabulous restaurant. It was very hard to
I hope we will be able to visit again sometime. Thanks for everything.

We were very please with our stay and we
plan to go back and bring our
two children, they will love it. We have taken hundreds of digital
photos on our trip there. If you would like we can send you a few that
that may show the beauty of the place or what it has to offer. On your
choosing you may post any of them to your web site. You are very
fortunate to have a couple who is so wonderful and sweet and to take
such pride and joy in their work, looking after your wonderful piece of
paradise. I want to thank you for paying such attention to detail on
everything. And thank you for keeping this heavenly place affordable for
middle income families that deserve to get away to a place that is
heaven on earth.

Our family really enjoyed
our stay at Casa del Cielo! It's a beautiful home and beautifully furnished.
Spacious, clean and airy - like something out of Architectural Digest. I
especially liked the open kitchen overlooking the vaulted living room. The view
was great - sunrises and sunsets are a must see. The villa is very private and
secure and conveniently centered between Cancun, Puerto Moreles, Playa del
Carmen and Cozumel and only minutes from the airport. The kids loved the
pool and spent most of their waking hours in the water.
The first day we went
into Cancun and shopped for groceries at the Walmart Superstore. The breads
and pastrys are fresh and delicious. We spent a day snorkeling on a private boat
in Cozumel, a day shopping for souvenirs and a day visiting the Tulum ruins. The
rest of the time we were most comfortable just swimming in the pool, watching
videos (bring your own), cooking and relaxing.
The staff was wonderful.
Ginny, the property manager speaks English and took our kids down the beach
to collect shells, which was above the call of duty. Gloria, the
housekeeper/cook has a heart of service and I became very attached to her.
Just bring your English/Spanish dictionary as she doesn't speak English. She
will do anything that's asked of her and is very sweet. And she makes great
I would highly recommend
a stay at Casa del Cielo. You will love it!
